While possibly the most strange record in the Phase I Marc With a C discography, it has a good reason for that; Marc came down with a still undiagnosed illness that changed the way they heard pitch. Rather than pointlessly toiling with the songs for results Marc couldn't properly here, the decision was instead made to release the "album" as a free zip file to the internet.
Each track was unfinished. An attempt to remaster the album was made in 2015, which was the first time Marc saw what the "broken glass" listeners seemed to see in Losing Salt (as those who enjoy it seem to bond deeply with the record). Marc remastered this version in 2022, while ill in very different ways, and it's not only the first proper mastering from the best possible sources... it's likely the final word on what the album can ever be. Includes one bonus cut about RPG's. Kind of!
